We cannot teach you Mao. But we can tell you what to expect at your first gathering.
Your first gathering

Find a gathering.
Pick one near you on the gatherings page, or ask in the WhatsApp group.

Show up.
No need to bring anything. No need to prepare. There is nothing to prepare.

Sit down and play.
You will be dealt in right away. Do not wait for an explanation. It is not coming.

Come back.
Every game teaches you something new. So does every defeat.

No. Rule Nº 2 applies everywhere: no written rules, no notes, no cheat sheets. Only the table.
What happens when I win?
You get to change the game. At least until the next one.
